Course description

SQL Server Business Intelligence Developer Bootcamp

This bootcamp includes coverage of relational database fundamentals, SQL programming, Microsoft Reporting Services (SSRS), Integration Services (SSIS), Analysis Services (SSAS), and Power BI.

Our unique approach combines on-demand video training with personal facilitation and comprehensive hands-on exercises. Practicing with Business Intelligence tools on real equipment with real software ensures successful learning and retention of newly acquired skills. Our support staff provides personal setup assistance, guidance and lab equipment setup for each student. We also assign an instructor to each student to facilitate completion of lab exercises and to help with any questions about the course content. Lab exercises are completed via direct high-speed access to a dedicated lab machine, providing responsive interaction and anywhere/anytime accessibility for both the student and facilitator.

The SQL Server Business Intelligence bootcamp provides a solid understanding of relational database design concepts, coding and utilizing SQL queries and database management tools. In the SQL Server Business Intelligence courses, you will learn how to deploy and manage Reporting Services, create and customize reports including Table, Matrix, Parameterized and Linked reports. You’ll be introduced to the design and use of data warehouses and the use of SSIS to import/export data. The thorough introduction to SSAS includes creation of data cubes to support business analytics, and syntax for extracting information including the use of MDX to develop Multidimensional models. Students will learn to use Microsoft's Power BI suite of products to import, analyze, and visualize business data, and to share business intelligence.

Upon completion of the program, students will have developed a flexible and sophisticated business intelligence skillset appropriate to pursue an entry-level C# .NET programmer position in the workforce.
