Innovationship was formed out of a shared passion for helping people to apply the creative, collaborative approach of design thinking to solve tough problems. Starting in the 1980s, the founders worked together both as colleagues at IDEO and in their own firms.

In 2012 they came together to focus their efforts on how best to guide clients through the process of discovering and integrating design thinking. Since then, Innovationship has helped startups, midsize firms, multinationals, and academic institutions around the world bring this essential process into their organization and successfully apply it to their toughest problems.
