Course description
Executive Coaching
CTI views coaching as a powerful act of leadership, serving and supporting executives in addressing common challenges, such as how to achieve deeper learning in certain areas, how to work through the challenges of a new role or significant change in an organization, or how to get unstuck from a troublesome behavior or business issue. Co-Active Coaching can help broaden and open a leader’s ability to powerfully influence others, build unshakeable partnerships and coalitions, and develop and motivate all leaders in their organization.
Executives who engage in a Co-Active Coaching relationship can expect fresh perspectives on personal challenges and opportunities, enhanced thinking and decision-making skills, heightened interpersonal effectiveness, and increased confidence in carrying out their work and life roles. Through the coaching relationship, with a better understanding and appreciation of self, leaders can also learn how to recognize and tap into the innate capabilities of their team members, thus elevating the level of individual engagement and contribution.
This course can also be offered virtually. Contact Co-Active Training Institute to learn more about delivery options.

We recommend executives engage in the following steps to maximize their significant investment:
- Self-Awareness: Who are they now as leaders and what impact are they creating
- CTI Executive Coaches are certified in The Leadership Circle Profile™ (TLCP) leadership assessment & debrief. TLCP is a 360 assessment integrating well-researched leadership competencies into a unified framework — deepening awareness and highlighting leverage points for change. The framework uncovers creative and reactive tendencies, and spotlights hidden motivators.
- Interview-Based 360s include 6-12 stakeholder interviews, reporting and one (1) debrief session with coachee. Please note: the 360 component does not need to be incorporated in the engagement and CTI coaches can also debrief internal 360 assessments with proper onboarding from the Corporate sponsor on methodology and organizational context.
- Alignment: What’s the mission, impact and outcome the leader is committed to delivering?
- Map: What’s the path? What and who is needed?
- Integration: Execute, experiment, be a role model and learn.
Duration/Cadence:
- 12 sessions occurring over six months
- Three (3) Coach/Coachee/Sponsor meetings (Note: more can be added at additional cost.)
- 9 x 1:1 sessions
