Course description
The Leader as a Coach
The Leader as a Coach training program promotes inclusivity in the workplace by providing employees with appropriate support, guidance, and inspiration. Participants of this program acquire the skills to identify effective coaching traits and behaviors, differentiate between coaching and other leadership methods, and determine the most suitable approach for diverse scenarios. They also learn to deliver constructive feedback and overcome common feedback obstacles. Participants can use a tried-and-tested coaching process to enhance their team's performance and develop performance measurement guidelines. This program emphasizes the leaders' responsibilities in motivating their team and ensuring their team members remain accountable during coaching engagements. Coaches also acquire the necessary skills in active listening and coaching models to motivate their team effectively. The program offers a safe environment for coaches to practice handling various coaching challenges. Following the training, participants commit to coaching, define coaching goals, and develop a 30/60/90-day action plan for applying coaching skills in their leadership roles.
