Course description

Advancing Customer Connections

Equip branch bankers and managers to prepare for and execute scheduled follow-up meetings that further advance customer relationships and deliver on your organization's promise of exceptional service. 

Advancing Customer Connections begins with a short eLearning course that emphasizes the value participants can bring to their customers by proactively scheduling time to discuss additional needs and explore their overall financial picture. Then, participants explore strategies for conducting a pre-meeting "confirmation call" to confirm the agenda and address any resistance the customer may have to an additionals in-person meeting. Finally, they learn approaches for a successful follow-ip meeting.

After participants successfully complete the eLearning course they are eligible to attend the Advancing Customer Connections: Skills Application Lab to practice and reinforce skills learned during eLearning.

Upon completion, participants will be able to:

  • Expand customer relationships
  • Demonstrate the behaviors that deepen connections with existing customers
  • Emplement planning tools to prepare for follow-up customer calls and meetings
  • Apply Omega Performance's Handling Objections model when faced with customer resistance to a follow-up meeting
  • Develop an action plan for on-the-job skill application and growth
