Sentiment Analysis - Online Course
This course provides and introduction to the techniques, algorithms and software used in sentiment analysis. Existing applications, particularly opinion mining and product reviews will be referenced to illustrate their use.
The course will explore the capabilities and limitations of these applications. Sentiment analysis draws significantly on work in text-mining and computational linguistics for real-world applications.
Participants will have a good idea of the field of sentiment analysis, the current state-of-the-art and the issues that are likely to be the focus of future systems.
This course may be taken individually (one-off) or as part of a certificate program.
