The purpose of this program is to give residents a competitive advantage when assuming leadership roles in their chosen careers. The four-week elective course will provide basic business training to help you navigate the complex, ever-changing business of healthcare.

This course is available to all individuals who want to achieve a competitive advantage when assuming leadership roles in their chosen careers in Practicing Physicians.
Training content
Content modules will be taught by faculty from the University of Houston-Clear Lake Healthcare Administration department and content experts. Recent case studies as well as interactive and collaborative exercises will be explored in face-to-face classroom settings and online.

Course delivery details
The program combines four-week elective courses, which equivalent to 100 hours of studying and practising. Each week you will have 5 on-campus sessions from Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Costs
The program fee is $2,000 (USD)
Certification / Credits
You will receive the “Healthcare Management Certificate” from the University of Houston-Clear Lake upon completing all modules (workshops) in the program.
