Course description

Reservoir Simulation Strategies - RSS

This course is designed to give an introduction to the fundamental and practical aspects of modern reservoir simulation. Particular emphasis is placed upon the available data and its integration into a data set that reflects a coherent model of the reservoir. These aspects are reinforced with small practical examples run by groups of the course participants. The course is organized in morning lecture sessions and afternoon practical sessions. One personal computer is included, at additional cost, for each two participants.

This course covers conventional reservoirs.

"Practical exercises. Liked understanding the theory and the problems/limitations that can arise." - Reservoir Engineer, United Kingdom

"All subjects were very important. The way that was concatenated the theory with real field examples." - Reservoir Engineering Advisor, United States
