Course description
This is an overview and introductory course of the Human Resource function where students learn the building blocks of effective Human Resource Management. The class will focus on the fundamental Federal laws that affect Human Resources Administration in every company large and small. It will also cover employee relations issues such as compensation, performance management, and discipline.

Hyflex (Hybrid + Flex): Our hybrid classes offer a blend of scheduled live course meetings and online coursework. For live meetings, you may register to join the instructor in the physical classroom or join the class meeting online broadcast from your preferred location. You will complete the online coursework on your own while adhering to the course schedule and completion date.
