Developed by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the world’s largest HR association and leading advocate for HR professionals, this course prepares HR professionals to become a SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP®) and/or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP®).
Taught by expert Villanova instructors, many of whom have decades of experience, earning certification is an ideal way to set yourself apart in the industry. By completing this course and subsequently passing the SHRM certification exam, you demonstrate your knowledge, competency and value to colleagues and to employers. SHRM has recently updated their testing eligibility requirements to include a wider range of eligible participants. Please check your eligibility as there are requirements to take the exam.

This intensive program combines expert in-class instruction with the 2023 SHRM Learning System®, so you will learn faster, retain more knowledge and stay on track for success on the exam.
Course delivery details
This course is offered in both a hybrid format and a fully in-person format.
Weekday evening courses run over 13 weeks.
Saturday accelerated course runs from 8:30 am - 4:00 pm over 7 weeks.
