Program Outline

Session 1: Managing Upwards

Managing upwards involves using strategies and communication tactics to foster successful working relationships with senior managers and decision-makers within an organization or team. In this session, participants will learn how to manage upwards effectively. At the end of this session, participants will better understand the concept of managing upwards, their manager’s management style, and how to apply strategies for successful communication and influence.

Session 2: Diversity in the Workplace

In this session, the focus is placed on recognizing diversity’s value in the workplace and proactively embracing it. After attending this session, you will better understand what it means to embrace diversity in the workplace and practical strategies for creating an inclusive culture in which everyone feels respected and valued.
