A 3-day deep-dive program, taught live online by master-practitioners under the guidance of UCLA Anderson’s world-renowned Corporate Governance faculty, which develops board vigilance and resilience across three vital areas:

The program is designed for global participants, covering US and EU regulatory, legal and policy issues, and will be of particular relevance to:
- Corporate board directors
- Audit Committee members
- CEOs, CFOs and any C-Suite leader who reports to the board on enterprise risk
- Senior professionals who work closely with boards in an advisory capacity
Training content
The teaching will be based on case studies drawn from the actual experiences of practitioner faculty, developed under the guidance of the Program Directors and Academic Faculty.
Participants will leave the program with a framework, methodology and way of thinking about crises that they can apply to situations in real time. They will be better prepared to ask management the right questions at the right time, and better able to contribute to the board’s vigilance and resilience with regard to three key areas of risk associated with today’s global digital business environment.
Course delivery details
The live online courses is divided in three-day masterclases which cover the following content:
- Day 1: principles of Crisis Management for Boards, Ten Top Tips for Board Members Faced with a Corporate Crisis, Current Cybersecurity Landscape, The Ransomware 'Pandemic', Networking 'Happy Hour'.
- Day 2: a Cybersecurity Crisis Scenario, a Cybersecurity Crisis Scenario: After Action Review, Keynote Speaker, and Bringing It All Together: Resilience and Action Planning.
- Day 3: From Theory to Practice: Case Study 1-Case Study 2, a Framework for Stakeholder Engagement, and Managing Stakeholder Engagement in a Crisis.
Costs
The program fee is $4,000(USD), which includes lectures, a panel discussion, and interactive exploration of case studies. The cases will facilitate and encourage peer interaction and active participation both during formal working sessions and informal networking breaks.
