Course description
Today's leaders are often in uncharted territory - under pressure to perform at high levels while on a hamster wheel of low employee engagement, increasing employee turnover rates, complex challenges, and unpredictable situations. Today's leaders need a new set of tools to lead effectively in this environment - their thinking must be more agile, their teams must be more collaborative, and their ideas must be more innovative than ever in order to thrive.
Empowered Leader is designed for current leaders who are ready to take their team to the next level. It takes key concepts like navigating conflict, creating an economy of feedback, and communication and flips them on their head to match the demands of today's world. It helps leaders create the conditions in which everyone can do their best work every day, pushing for new, collaborative, and innovative solutions to problems. It provides new ways of thinking about employee performance issues as well as strategies to address them more effectively.
Designed for flexibility, Empowered Leader is provided in two sets of 8-classes each (Empowered Leader I and Empowered Leader II). Each class is held at Thought Design from 9:00 to noon, two times per month and is recorded in the event that you need to miss a session. One-on-one coaching can be added and is recommended for deep implementation and application to each team's unique situation.
