- Responsibilities: A deep dive into workplace law requirements, detailing the responsibilities of managers, supervisors, and workers to ensure compliance with federal legislation and maintain a defensible position in the case of accidents.
- Arc Flash Mitigation: Strategies for both corporate and personal levels to mitigate arc flash hazards, focusing on the significance of distance, current, time, PPE, job hazard analysis, standard operating procedures, and safe work practices.
- General Requirements for Electrical Safety-Related Work Practices: Ensuring corporate compliance with CSA Z462, covering responsibilities, training requirements, and the establishment of an electrical safety program.
- Work on or Near Live Parts: Guidelines for conducting daily work in accordance with CSA Z462, including justification for work, energized electrical work permits, hazard analysis, and protection against shock and flash hazards.
- Establishing an Electrically Safe Work Condition (ESWC): Understanding the process of achieving an ESWC, working on or near de-energized equipment, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, and the use of temporary protective grounding equipment.
