Contributing to Executive-Level Meetings
Keeping your cool when the stakes are high
Meeting with decision makers and leadership can be daunting for those not used to speaking with audiences at this level. People often feel intimidated, get nervous, lose focus, or talk in circles. Or worse… they don’t talk at all. Frequently there’s a reluctance to offer a strong opinion or recommendation – leaving the executives to figure it out on their own.
Contributing to Executive-level Meetings helps participants understand their role in the meeting and the dynamics of working with senior executives who simply want a strong recommendation and the rationale behind it. Turpin helps provide the skills to build more confident, focused, and professional communicators that executives will respect – leading to more productive meetings and easier decision making.
Taught by two instructors, this workshop uses video-recorded exercises and private instructor-led video review to help participants gain awareness of how they are perceived.
Contributing to Executive-Level Meetings includes access to eCoach – our program for pre-work and post-workshop performance support. Participants receive reusable job aids and reference materials to help them apply what they learn in class to the situations they face outside of it.
