Course description
Whole Life Carbon Assessment is key to the RICS sustainability strategy. This course will provide the industry with tools to carry out carbon assessments in line with the requirements of the standard which is heavily complex and technical. The course will provide explanation through examples and case studies to enable RICS practitioners and industry stakeholders to apply the new standard in a practical and ‘in use’ situation.

This is an online course that you can study in your own time. There are seven modules, plus an exam at the end of the course. In each module, you have access to eLearning, reading, case studies and a quiz. You also have access to live online consolidation sessions, where a tutor will take you through the module, case study and any tricky elements of learning. Each module is expected to take you five weeks, and each module will be released on a five week basis, so that all participants are at the same stage. You are given a further two months to complete your exam and complete any further outstanding work. After this time, the course will end, and you will no longer have access to these materials.
