With the new infrastructure bill, the amount of construction across the country is about to explode. More funding means more projects. And with that, you and your team will face even more of what is a common issue on nearly all construction projectschange orders. Some change orders are relatively straightforward, while others may be more complex to evaluate. Either way, determining whether a change order should be granted is all about entitlement. Having a fundamental understanding of what a change to a contract is and how your contract determines whether there is entitlement to recover for that change is crucial for dealing with this explosion in construction work.
