Building Better Team Engagement

Engaged teams are successful teams. Not only do engaged teams deliver a better product to clients, they also increase the organization’s productivity, and promote a more cohesive work environment. Despite the critical importance of team building and team engagement, at least 70% of American workers routinely report low levels of engagement.

Gallup recently observed that active, responsive leadership is the key driver of employee engagement. However, employees should also take ownership of their engagement and collaborate with leaders to create an environment of team building and engagement in the organization.

Our workshop teaches managers and employees how to overcome this critical gap and build more engaged teams in their organizations from the top down as well as the bottom up. Based on survey research, interviews, and data analysis, this team building and team engagement workshop presents a model which offers a framework for measuring, monitoring, and improving team dynamics and employee engagement.

    • Management Factor (Motivating & Relating, Managing to Execution)
    • Organizational Factor (Culture, Alignment)
    • Barrier Factor (Conflict, Resources, Trust, etc)
  • Understand the team dynamic mechanisms of happiness, satisfaction, motivation, execution, culture, and strategic alignment.
  • Define the rules, roles, and expectations of their team.
  • Learn how to manage to people (relationship focused).
  • Learn managing to execution (setting goals, providing feedback, fostering accountability).
  • Ultimately taking stock of their team’s current level of engagement, formulate a vision for future team engagement.
  • This class can be taken individually or with entire teams, workgroups, or division. All levels and tenure would benefit from this training.
