Online Master Black Belt Program
Six Sigma Master Black Belts (MBBs) are qualified to lead and teach others in the six sigma methods and tools to all functions and levels of an organization. They provide guidance to leaders, integrating the Six Sigma methods into the business strategy of the organization. They also contribute to creating and carrying out the organization’s strategic business and operational plans. Juran’s mentoring, coaching, and observing of the MBB candidate will consist of web-based support throughout the certification process (typically 2 - 4 months depending on the pace of the candidate). The candidate and the Juran Certifier will work together to define an appropriate schedule to review all project work, reading assignments, case study development, and teaching assignments.

Who should attend?
Non-Juran trained candidates must submit proof of Six Sigma Black Belt certification including documentation of successful completion of four projects.
The candidate should have completed the criteria as follows:
- Has actively participated or managed the organization’s continuous improvement plan.
- Has had experience in leading teams and trained them.
- Has interacted in a resource/advisory capacity with some or all members of the Executive Team and has earned respect at this level.
Training content
The Juran MBB for Services program consists of the following:
- Complete of a self-assessment against the Juran Body of Knowledge (attached to this email).
- Discuss the assessment and be interviewed by the Juran MBB Certifier (video conference)
- Develop a gap closure plan with online, self-learning modules; reading assignments, and additional learning through short live webinars. Estimated web-time is 10-30 hours with a Juran coach.
- Provide proof of your capability to teach and coach others by providing us evidence you have done so or be observed teaching by a Juran Certified MBB.
- Pass the Juran MBB examination.
- Have local leadership or other Certified MBB sign off on your certification application..
