Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
Training provides a program which blends an equal portion of Lean, Six Sigma and Social Leadership principles (Lean Six Sigma). The participant will learn the various techniques and tools required to drive Operational Improvement at a Green Belt level, with focus on business and management practices.

The training will deliver Lean, Six Sigma and Social Leadership skills. The content is customizable (to some extent), based on the experience and needs of the registered participants.

This course is designed for technical people, such as engineers, planners, metallurgists and managers in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, based on tools required to execute root cause analysis and drive operational improvement.
Training content
Separate and distinct modules will include:
Day 1: Lean, Six Sigma and Social Leadership
- Intro to Lean, 6 Sigma and DMAIC/PDCA
- Basics of Problem Solving
- Social Leadership
- A3 Thinking
Day 2: Lean
- Kaizen: Including VA/NVA/Wastes and Standards.
- Value Stream Mapping / SIPOC
- 5S
Day 3: Lean
- Lean Daily Management and Visual Management
- Kanban / JIT
- Mistake Proofing and Hierarchy of Controls
Day 4: Six Sigma
- Define, Measure, Analyze
Day 5: Six Sigma and Risk / Change Management
- Improve and Control
- Change Management
- Operational Readiness and Monte Carlo Simulations
Course delivery details
To build an understanding of the basic concepts of both Lean and Six Sigma Tools and Methodologies. Time set aside to review case studies and conduct practice sessions. The course is designed as a 5 day offering, with discussion / coaching time at the end of each day.
