Certified Sales Compensation Professional (CSCP)®

Certified Sales Compensation Professional (CSCP)®

Worldwide earning the sales compensation certification is an excellent way for individuals with responsibility for sales compensation to establish their credentials and show their commitment to remaining on the leading edge of the profession.

Possessing the Certified Sales Compensation Professional designation gives you an edge in today’s competitive world. Certification signifies that you are an expert in your field. It gives you, and your employer, confidence in your job skills. As a leader, it demonstrates that you have the knowledge, experience and critical skills in the design, administration, evaluation and managements of sales compensation programs that will attract, motivate and retain dynamic sales representatives and teams who have the ability to provide positive business results.

This designation is intended for professionals involved in multiple aspects of sales compensation.  WorldatWork Society recognizes that expertise in sales compensation comes from a broad variety of experience and education.  As a competency-based designation, the WorldatWork Society recommends CSCP candidates have more than two years of experience.

Am I Eligible to Become a CSCP®?

The CSCP certification is achieved by passing one comprehensive exam based on what is recognized as the Sales Compensation Body of Knowledge. All candidates, regardless of experience, should review the following four steps.

  1. Review the CSCP Body of Knowledge (BOK)
  2. Supplement Your Knowledge
  3. Take the Practice Exam
  4. Register for the CSCP Exam

What Are the Next Steps?

Review the areas of eligibility above and ensure that you have met all prerequisites for the CSCP® exam. If you do not meet all of these requirements you can either continue your studies and experience to work up to the CSCP® requirements or you can look at one of the other HR certifications that WorldatWork has to offer.

Retaining the CSCP® Certification

Upon successful completion and passing of the CSCP® exam, all professionals must remain active to keep their designation.
