Course description

Team-Building: Integrating Teams Using Personal Core Values

The word integration means to ”make things one”. This word perfectly describes the level of unity and collaboration that leaders and managers want present in their teams. Done properly, team building can bring about this level of integration.

This program was developed in order to help organizations promote team integration by making the most out of the core values of each member of the team. This course will teach participants to identify these using the Core Values Index. This tool enables one to measure the four drives that shape one’s core values. These are:

  • The drive to get things done
  • The drive to connect with people and the surrounding world
  • The drive to gain deeper insight into things
  • The drive to enlarge know-how and knowledge

Once an individual’s level of preference and drive for each of these values has been determined, it is possible to accurately predict how this person will be able to make the most valuable contributions to a team. This course will also teach participants how to identify the most likely sources of conflict in a team and how to use this conflict for creative growth instead of destruction.
