Introduction
The Six Sigma Lean Black Belt in Healthcare (LBBH)™ exam is a timed, online exam. It consists of approximately 85-110 questions and has a required passing score of 70%.
NOTE: This course covers all of the topics in the Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification, plus the following additional competencies:
Hoshin Kanri
- Hoshin Kanri, or strategy deployment, are complicated words to describe a very simple concept: breakthrough initiatives to improve the health of patients.
- Learning Outcome: Define Hoshin Kanri and the history of it.
Implementing Hoshin Kanri
- An organization should strive to implement actions which deliver the desired performance and assess the results of these actions on the culture. If these actions are successful, performance targets are achieved and high-performance culture ensues.
- Learning Outcome: Understand the basic process of implementing Hoshin Kanri.
Lean Healthcare
- Putting Lean and Healthcare together.
- Learning Outcome: Understand how Lean creates value for different segments of healthcare. Value for Students, value for the organization. Understanding the transfer of knowledge.
