Electrical Engineering I
This course defines the basic notions of electrical circuits composed of three passive elements (resistor, inductor and capacitor), linear and voltage and current sources.
These circuits are treated with the elementary laws of electricity then a series of methods of combinations of elements and transformations of the circuit are developed which lead to their simplification and allow an easy analysis of the currents, voltages and powers present. Some classic particular circuits are presented.
All these methods are first developed in continuous regime and then they are generalized to alternating regime, involving complex calculation. The importance of the alternating regime lies in the fact that it is omnipresent at the level of domestic and industrial electrical distribution.
