I have a commercial pilot's license in the eu from greece. how do i convert it to the us so that i can work for an american company?

Yeah - if you have your license through the CAA it's possible. You need to take an English test (a real one evaluated by a native speaker) and take a medical - and there is a bunch of paperwork. Start by calling or emailing the FAA.
