Empass is the flagship product of Gurgaon-based BuildEmploy Services (P) Limited. Empass is a mobile based learning platform for job seekers and professionals trying to learn new and in-demand skills on their smartphones. Empass uses the best practices of Gamification and Assessments to offer bite-sized content that can be used to improve skills anytime, anywhere. For Corporate users, Training providers and Academic institutions, Empass offers a great value-add to students and employees. Our mobile platform can be integrated into an existing mobile-app or as a stand-alone tool for assessing and improving the skills across small teams or large groups with the same ease. The platform presently covers 20 skills across Aptitude, Business and Technical domains.
These include the popular ones such as Java, PHP, Software Testing, Project Management and niche skills such as Agile Scrum, Big data, Cloud Computing, IFRS, GST etc. Organizations can deploy their own custom-content to run our Gamified assessment platform internally. While formal education will continue to supply more people to industry, skilling them with the relevant training and certifications to be job ready will be a bigger challenge and therefore an opportunity. Addressing this with mobile learning solutions hasn't been explored much and that is where we believe we have a first-mover advantage. Shorter learning sessions and on-demand learning & assessment will be the primary sources of competence development. An increasing number of employers are also keen to explore mobile solutions for their talent management problems - hiring, refresher trainings, skill gap analysis, certification preparation and in-house assessments & employee engagement tools etc.
Our models of engagement include, In-app purchase by users (virtual currency in the game), branded hiring contests as well as a completed white-labeled SDK model for those organizations that have an existing mobile app. We prototyped it earlier this year and successful launched our Android app last year and will bring the iOS version in July 2017. We have over 6,000 registered users who have played 160,000+ game sessions in the skills areas available on the platform. The users come from 70+ cities in India with ~ 2% users now active from outside India.
Our pilot corporate clients include start-ups in e-commerce and foodtech, a large Software firm and a big-4. Each of them are using for a unique use case making it extremely exciting for us. Acquiring and showcasing professional skills with online learning is already a $107billion+ market globally. Mobile-based learning tools for professional skill development is a $2 billion+ market in itself and clocking double digit growth rates.
