Developing Managers and Leaders
The one-day Developing Managers and Leaders course is designed to help participants start a discussion about the differences between management and leadership, as well as acknowledge that both are necessary for the success of an organization.
Participants will learn about leadership and management as it relates to the teachings of leadership expert and Harvard Business school professor, John Kotter. According to Kotter, leadership is coping with change and management is coping with complexity. In addition, this course will teach the three key steps in management and leadership and will engage participants in focused activities to practice the three key leadership activities.
