Overview
For many people learning about how basic electrical theory works has been confusing. The VIPer Method has been developed to minimize, if not completely eliminate, the confusion that occurs when studying electrical circuits. Using this method, anyone can get a real grasp of basic electrical theory. It is the author’s opinion that anyone with an understanding of simple mathematical operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) will be able to do DC Circuits analysis. And, with an understanding of vector algebra, the move up to understanding Alternating Current circuits is also easy.
With the VIPer Chart, most electrical circuit problems become an exercise in filling in the blanks, and then stepping back to see what you have accomplished. You will be surprised to see how easy this process really is. Since this method organizes your thoughts, you can really start to understand what you are doing much earlier in the learning curve. The principles presented in this course will remove much of the mystery from electrical theory and principles.
This program was developed so that any engineer could more easily understand the theory behind most of the electrical devices that we use every day. Any engineer can benefit from the understanding that comes with this idea. For electrical engineers this is an excellent review and may be a new way to look at circuits. Color coding is used to help organize the circuits and your thoughts. This is not the resistor color code. Throughout the presentation, there are a number of graphs and diagrams and pictures. And, of course, the VIPer Chart is shown many times.
