Course description
Business Continuity Planning for Auditors - NFPA 1600
This course is ANSI-accredited and offers participants the training, tools, and hands-on experience needed to audit business continuity, disaster, and emergency management programs using NFPA 1600. During the course, participants take part in a case study of a hypothetical company. They will gather information about this company and determine whether or not the business continuity program they are auditing conforms to the 2016 edition of NFPA 1600 "Standard on Disaster-Emergency Management and Business Continuity Programs." At the end of the course, participants will work with a small group of others to present their recommendations to the class.
