Never planned a training before but we need an excel trainer stat. what questions should i ask about the trainer or the company so that i don't get the wrong one.

The most important thing to ask an on-site trainer is who recommends them. Don't risk your company's budget on a trainer who can't list several companies who had a great experience.

Ask them about how they can tackle your specific issues that have prompted you to hire an Excel trainer. Go into your processes and ask them how they can help you.
