Practical skills for facilitating high-stakes sales situations

This comprehensive workshop for sales people can be used as a final step in the sales training process or as a refresher for seasoned individuals. During training, participants practice with their company's sales model and marketing material.

Taught by two instructors, Presentation Training for Sales Professionals uses video-recorded exercises and private, instructor-led video review. This process helps participants build self awareness and the skills they need to succeed.

This workshop uses a blended learning approach through eCoach, Turpin's online learner's portal. Participants complete pre-work before the workshop and have access to job aids and reference material after training has taken place. Participants also receive a copy of The Orderly Conversation: Business Presentations Redefined.

Training is tailored to meet the needs of the group and each individual. 

Learning objectives

Participants learn to: 

  • Engage buyers in a comfortable, easy conversation.
  • Frame sales presentations to be listener-focused and persuasive.
  • Use visual aids effectively, whether seated or standing, projected, hard copy, hand-held, or created by someone else.  
  • Be concise and clear.
  • Remain nimble, think on their feet, and address buyer concerns as they arise.
  • Listen and hear.
  • Manage questions and resistance confidently. 
  • Set next steps to move the sale forward.
