Little Red Wagons for Charity
It is possible to set up this event as either a networking event or as a team building competition.
Teams build and then will then fill their wagons with stuffed animals, small toys, books, writing supplies, and sporting equipment, along with a handwritten note from each team. Wagons are given to local agencies as part of their holiday appeal and the wagons then go to deserving local children/families who can’t afford holiday gifts. True North will seek out a local agency that will identify children in need of and deserving of donations.
A sense of community is important for any team and giving back to those in need in your local area will help build that feeling. Whether you start with networking to get to know your teammates' better or friendly competition, this event will leave your team with good feelings that will carry over for a long time.
This program can be paired with other True North team building offerings such as The Matrix or Remarkable Race, if you’re looking for a stronger competitive challenge but would still like to incorporate a corporate social responsibility component. This is a very inclusive event.
