Course description
This 1-day course is designed for individuals who conduct or plan to conduct internal EHS audits. This course will be applicable to any type of EHS regulatory or management system audit. Examples of these techniques will include some regulatory content; however, the emphasis of the course is auditing techniques and does not cover comprehensive regulatory information. Course topics that are invaluable to EHS auditors include: auditor standards of conduct, ethics, pre-audit activities, on-site audit activities, and post-audit activities. Additional discussion will cover conflicts of interest, interviewing techniques, how to write findings, and how to handle difficult situations.
