Course description

This course is tailored for environmental and sustainability professionals who plan to disclose carbon and energy data to CDP’s Climate Change Program and/or Supply Chain Program. Now more than a decade old, CDP has emerged as the global system enabling companies and cities to measure, disclose, manage and share vital information regarding environmental assets.
The course is intended for both new and existing CDP reporters and provides a compelling case for disclosure. Instructors will review techniques for optimizing the emissions quantification process, obtaining verification, and estimating payback for emissions mitigation. Selected case studies will be presented to demonstrate leadership in the reporting process and how organizations can benefit from the associated transparency among stakeholder groups.
