High Performance Teamwork at VIRginia International Raceway
This experiential leadership development program focuses on high performance teamwork and was developed through a partnership between Lincoln Leadership Institute at Gettysburg and VIRginia International Raceway. The Lincoln Leadership Institute brings 20 years' experience in organizational development and applies its particular methodology to a new arena, offering its clients an exciting new experience: the world of motorsports!
Course participants get to drive an Ariel Atom, one of the world’s fastest race cars. In the process, they come to some shocking realizations regarding their relationships with those around them.
The Pit Crew
Participants explore what working on a pit crew can teach them about building and maintaining high performance teams.
Based on the story of British driver, Stirling Moss’ victory in the 1955 Mille Miglia, this case study forces participants to rethink the ways they communicate with those around them.
