Charity Events and Team Building: The Build-A-Bike® Activity

Giving back to the community is an excellent way to stay in the public eye and communicate with stakeholders. With The Leader's Institute®, it can also be a fantastic avenue for learning invaluable team-building skills. The Build-A-Bike® program divides participants into teams set to work together and solve specific challenges in order to build bicycles for either The YMCA. The Boys and Girls Club of America or another area charity. It's the perfect way to build communication skills, work on brainstorming techniques and discover the hidden benefits of working as a team. And best of all, you get to see the look on a child's face when they get their brand-new bicycle!
