Managing Your Career
Employees are changing jobs more rapidly than in the past, and it’s costly to replace them. They are seeking more tools and resources from their employers to empower them to more effectively manage and develop their careers. Whether you are an HR leader, manager, or employee, this workshop will give you the tools and structure you need to better manage your own career, as well as support others seeking guidance from you.
You will be introduced to a career planning framework you will customize to your own needs and preferences in order to gain clarity about what you desire from your career. The four steps are Career Planning, Marketing, Networking, and Preparing. Practical tools will be utilized to draft your career plan and identify your next steps on the journey to fulfillment.
This course is eligible for continuing education credits through SHRM.
