Detection of Deception
In the Detection of Deception course, you will learn how to recognize potential deception during an interview. How do people lie and how do we spot a lie?
Phil Houston's proprietary methodology allows us to answer these questions through analysis rather than speculation. The course is based on the fraud case study where you will watch a video case and decide who is lying based on how you would detect deception. Through the case study, you will learn typical deceptive behaviors and how to detect deception in face-to-face meetings, phone interviews and written communication.
The behaviors covered in the course are cross-cultural and gender-neutral, allowing this non-intrusive methodology to be effective worldwide. At the end, you will take a quiz to reinforce your recognition of deceptive behaviors.
