Leadership Development (E-learning) SMART Resilient Teams™ - Personal Leadership
Our subconscious mind has a mind of its own, and the more we look at what’s beneath the surface, the better we are able to make changes.
That's why in this first course, recommended as a pre-requisite to Team Effectiveness, you'll learn about you, the first step in any leadership course. You'll also learn the importance of connecting with colleagues before engaging in a conversation, project or a task. By identifying what you have in common, you can begin building trust and respect, an essential life skills.
Second, you'll boost your self-awareness and gain access to a leadership tool used to assess you assess your default Trigger Style (Avoid - Attack). Once you know what happens when you are under stress, you can take steps to make changes that will result in better outcomes.
Next, we address personal responsibility, the concept all good leaders know and practice. The idea that each of us is responsible for half of every relationship we have: the good, the bad and those in between. You'll learn what sidetracks you from staying open-minded, how assumptions and conclusions are created and the importance of giving the benefit of the doubt.
Finally, you'll learn how to nurture relationships, so they are rewarding, cooperative and compassionate.
Advanced communication skills are the #1 required skill for promotion and, of course, essential to leadership and everyday life as well.
