Course description
This comprehensive 2-day ISO 45001:2018 Implementation course is designed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to successfully implement and maintain an Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS) per the ISO 45001:2018 standard. Whether new to ISO standards or seeking to brush up on your OHSMS knowledge, this course will provide the practical knowledge and insights needed to ensure compliance with the standard.
Learning Objectives:
- Identify the key requirements and benefits of ISO 45001
- Understand the Objectives, Purpose, Planning, and Documenting Internal Audits
- Understand the Process Approach Methodology
- Understand occupational health & safety risks and opportunities and how they relate to a successful occupational health & safety management system
- Understand how to implement with regard to key elements.
This course combines lectures, case studies, group discussions, and practical exercises to provide a hands-on learning experience. Participants will work on real-world scenarios, allowing them to apply ISO 45001:2018 concepts in their organization.
Participants will be evaluated through practical exercises and a final examination. Upon successful completion, participants will receive a certification of completion.
Prerequisites: Basic knowledge of environmental management principles is recommended but not required. DQS will not provide a copy of the standard. If you need a copy, you can purchase one at iso.org.
