Sales Call Simulation

Sales Managers and Executives face the challenge of ensuring that their Sales Representatives use a proven sales process when face-to-face with customers and clients. While many Sales Executives participate on sales calls with their Representatives and provide coaching after the call, they soon discover that their presence at a sales call can sometimes get in the way of the actual sale, undermining the point of the sales call in the first place. How then, do Sales Executives determine their Representatives’ skill levels and, more importantly, enhance them? One way is to use a sales call assessment that is tailored to your industry and sales process.

This simulation can be implemented as a standalone session or embedded within sales conferences or meetings. Each participant gets one-on-one attention and coaching. The simulation round is one-hour per participant, however, rounds are held simultaneously based upon size of group and time allotted.

Who should attend?

This simulation is tailored by client and industry. Account Managers, Sales Executives, Sales Associates and other customer-facing B2B sales representatives are ideal participants.

Training Content

As part of the simulation, participants complete prework for a sales call, meet a 'mock customer' and present solutions based upon the sales call interaction. By participating in the Sales Call Simulation, Sales Managers, Executives and Representatives receive benefits such as: 

  • Individualized feedback regarding the effectiveness of their sales calls based on observable behaviors.
  • Creation of developmental plans for Representatives based on the results of their simulations and written assessments.
  • Individualized coaching to Representatives that is targeted to the high-return-on-investment areas of the sales call and consultative sales process.
  • Summary of group simulation results into behavioral patterns so that Sales Managers and Executives can use the information to better provide on-the-job coaching and feedback.
