Strategic Recruitment: Interviewing, Selection, and Onboarding (In-House)
Through this three-day course from Leoron managers will develop their understanding of recruitment and induction in order to retain staff and make their teams more effective. The course will also cover training and coaching new staff.
Participants will gain:
- An understanding of how to prepare specific and effective job descriptions and role profiles
- A “question toolbox” to help understand candidates
- A template for effective induction of new starters
- A method for delivering impactful training in the workplace
- A feedback model to enable teams to learn and grow
Who should attend?
This course is suitable for team leaders looking to progress to the next level of management, as well as managers required to lead staff through organisational change, budget cuts and/or other situations or pressures.
Prerequisites
There are no formal requirements but it is recommended that participants are either practising or aspiring managers in order for them to fully benefit from the course.
Training content
The course is made up of three modules:
- Understanding Recruitment and Selection of New Staff in the Workplace
- Understanding the Induction of New Staff in the Workplace
- Understanding Training and Coaching in the Workplace
Certification / Credits
Upon successfully passing a written or practical assignment for each module participants will be awarded an ILM Level 3 Award in Leadership and Management.
