Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (In-house)
This course will give participants the ability to advance their skills and knowledge of theDefine, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control (DMAIC) process previously acquired from reachingSix Sigma Green Belt status. Using the DMAIC theories, participants will be able to apply critical thinking that will support company process improvement efforts, and this will be the main focus of the course discussion and activities.
Training content
After completing this course participants will be able to:
- Apply the Six Sigma Black Belt project responsibilities and team roles for deploying Six Sigma within the organisation for improving project results.
- Select appropriate project management and quality tools to manage Six Sigma projects.
- Develop a business case (project charter and team performance) for Six Sigma project success in a specific process related to the participant’s company.
- Implement a data gathering procedure based upon the business case for the project.
- Analyse the Six Sigma project results in a strategic business perspective and communicate these results appropriately to all levels of an organisation.
