Certified IFRS Specialist (In-House)
This programme equips your staff with critical knowledge on continually updating IFRS standards. It provides insight into how the standards have come into existence, their importance in the standardisation of reporting systems internationally, and the planned pathway to convergence for those countries that have not yet adopted the IFRS.
The programme is continually updated and contains information about recently introduced standards as well as the recent IFRIC interpretations including IFRIC 9. Parallels with the IFRS, US GAAP and local standards, including SOCPA, will be discussed where relevant. The program also contains an in-depth analysis of the most important new development which is the promulgation of the IFRS for Small to Medium Size Enterprises (SMEs). These standards have been developed specifically for the SME sector which represents 90+% of all entities. They are currently being sanctioned by most IFRS adopting countries.
