Course description

ESG Risk, Compliance & Sustainable Lending
The explosive growth of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) related lending and investing requires board members, executives, investors and staff to understand more deeply how ESG will impact their company's strategic decisions. This practical course will help participants gain a deeper understanding of ESG, as well as EU, ESG-related compliance, in particular—focusing ultimately on how to shape oversight and develop a broad range of ESG disclosure policies. The course will also address sustainable lending and how ESG factors can be incorporated in credit assessment and lending decisions, with speculative discussions about stress-testing ESG factors in lending and investment portfolios.
