Agile Project Management: Create an Iteration and Release Plan
A main goal of agile projects is to deliver a quality product to the customer early and often. The iteration and release plan is the delivery framework for this goal. In this course, we discuss the factors that impact decisions relating to the length of an iteration as well as that of the entire project. We will define a team’s velocity, which is an important metric that is used to plan iterations and track project progress. We will also practice negotiating a release plan that takes into consideration the team's velocity, the organization’s release strategy, and the priority of the user stories in the backlog.
