Course description
APQC has been researching and working in the discipline of knowledge management for three decades. The goal of knowledge management is to ensure knowledge flows and is used at the point of need. A critical success factor for use to occur is the knowledge must successfully transfer. Knowledge transfer is the process of converting the knowledge inside people’s heads into content, learning materials, tools, and processes that others can use, and/or directly transferring knowledge from one person to another.
APQC’s three-day, virtual knowledge transfer specialist course provides a deep learning experience in how to transfer knowledge. The curriculum combines our proven methodologies, best practices, and techniques with real-world experience for fostering systematic and organic knowledge transfer. Participants will work through actual scenarios to identify, design, implement, and sustain knowledge transfer. Participants will also learn effective change management and communication strategies and walk away with skills that can be applied at the department level or in an enterprise-wide setting.
