Course description
An organizational assessment gives organizations a rigorous and objective external view of their performance. By looking at systems, processes, knowledge, and people, it provides a multi-dimensional appraisal. It also helps leaders understand their organization’s strengths and opportunities for improvement, outline next steps on its continuous improvement journey, and determine how to incorporate the findings into the strategic plan. In this highly interactive course, participants will reference other organizations’ experiences as they consider and discuss their own organizations and their level of maturity. At the end of this course, participants will understand the seven core components of an effective system and the benefits of an external review. In addition, they will know how to conduct a quick “check-up” of their own organizations.
