Presentation Essentials: Tools for Success
Presentation Essentials is designed to improve a person’s ability to present information and ideas to others and is a critical skill for success in today’s workplace. Participants in the program learn a wide array of tools and techniques for making themselves and their message have greater impact in both in-person and virtual presentations. The course can be tailored to focus on presentations in general or prepare for a specific presentation. A variety of activities will be used including large and small groups with ample opportunities to practice. Participants will work on vocal techniques, body positioning, message content, and visual aids.

Training content
Participants will:
- Understand the three core elements of presentation – content, delivery and listeners.
- Learn how non-verbal signals impact a presentation.
- Develop and demonstrate a variety of delivery techniques.
- Deliver three to six (depending on one or two day experience) videotaped presentations.
- Receive on-going feedback from the participants and facilitator.
- Create an action plan based on the new tools and techniques learned.
