Description: This module explains the planning and operational components of the Energy Management System (EnMS) as per ISO 50001:2018. Planning part includes Context of Organization, Leadership whereas the Operation part includes Support and Operation Controls of the EnMS. Within Operations, there are different requirements on Operation Controls, Design of facility and equipment, and Procurement.

Description: In this module, Clause - 9 and Clause - 10 of the ISO 50001:2018 standard is taught. Clause - 8 specifies the general requirements, management of monitoring and measurement issues, nonconforming product management, data analysis etc. Within this clause - 10, Clause - 10.2 is on continual improvement which paves out ways for the organization to improve its energy system and energy performance through the framework of non-conformity and corrective actions.
